Registration
Noritz recommends registering within 30 days of installation via noritz.com. Without registration, Noritz defaults to manufacture date as the warranty start — losing up to 6-12 months of coverage if the unit sat in inventory before install. Always register.
Filing a claim

- Photograph the data plate
- Call 1-877-986-6748 or have your Noritz-trained installer call
- Noritz dispatches parts to a trained installer (not direct to homeowner)
- Labor coverage applies only in year 1
What voids the warranty
- No annual descaling in hard-water regions (over 11 grains per gallon hardness)
- Installation by a non-licensed plumber in jurisdictions requiring permits
- Improper venting (mixed manufacturers, undersized diameter, exceeded length)
- Use of LP unit on natural gas (or vice versa) without conversion kit
- Commercial use of residential model OR vice versa — warranty matches use class
Commercial cascade warranty notes
