Noritz is primarily a contractor-channel brand — sold through plumbing wholesalers and Noritz-trained installers. Limited retail presence at big-box. Four channels to consider:
1. Noritz-trained installer (recommended)
Noritz-trained installers complete factory training and have direct distributor parts access. For NCC cascade installs especially, manufacturer-trained installers are meaningfully better than generic plumbers. Find through noritz.com / dealer locator by ZIP.
- Has commercial cascade install experience (if relevant)
- Receives extended labor warranty in some regions
- Has Noritz service software for diagnostics
- Submits warranty claims directly
2. Plumbing wholesalers
Ferguson, Hajoca, Winsupply, F.W. Webb stock the full Noritz catalog including NCC commercial. Generally require a plumber/contractor account but increasingly serve walk-in retail.
3. Home Depot / Lowe's
Limited Noritz inventory — mostly NR non-condensing entry tier and select NRC residential. NCC commercial is not stocked. EZTR is occasionally available.
4. Amazon
Stocks NRC, EZ, and EZTR from authorized sellers. Verify the seller is Noritz America or top-rated authorized dealer — gray-market listings exist.

Commercial cascade — installer-only
NCC cascade installs are not appropriate for big-box install channels. The cascade controller, manifold piping, and Quick Connect cord configuration require commercial install experience. Always use a Noritz-trained commercial installer for cascade applications.
Bottom line
For NRC and EZTR residential — wholesale or Amazon work fine. For NCC commercial cascade — Noritz-trained commercial installer only. Don't try to DIY a cascade install or use a generic plumber for cascade work.
