DIY replacement

  1. Gas off; wait 5 minutes
  2. Remove burner cover
  3. Disconnect thermocouple lead from gas valve
  4. Remove from pilot bracket
  5. Install new
  6. Restore gas; light pilot; hold knob 60 seconds
