About Saniflo

Saniflo (a division of SFA-Saniflo, founded 1958 in Brécy, France) pioneered the macerating toilet — a small electric pump unit that grinds waste and pushes it up through a 3/4-inch discharge pipe to an existing soil stack as far as 15 vertical feet away. The Sanicompact, Saniaccess, and Sanibest Pro lines are the workhorses for basement bathrooms, garage conversions, and pool houses where below-grade installation would otherwise require breaking concrete. Saniflo is the named brand in 70%+ of US searches for "upflush toilet" and "macerating toilet system."

  • 2-inch flush valve: flow rate ~30 seconds per gallon
  • 3-inch flush valve: flow rate ~15 seconds per gallon
  • 4-inch flush valve: flow rate ~7 seconds per gallon

The 4-inch valve dumps the entire 1....
