The Waterdrop WH-CM is a whole-house salt-free water conditioner that uses a dual-media tank containing template-assisted crystallization (TAC) media and catalytic carbon. The TAC media converts dissolved calcium carbonate (the primary cause of limescale) into nano-crystals approximately 200 nanometers in diameter that remain suspended in water rather than depositing on pipe walls or heating surfaces. Catalytic carbon simultaneously reduces chlorine, chloramines, and organic compounds affecting taste and odor. The WH-CM requires no salt, no backwash drain connection, and no electrical supply, producing zero brine waste -- a significant advantage for households on septic systems where conventional softener brine discharge disrupts septic tank bacterial populations. Flow rates of 12-15 GPM suit 3-4 bathroom homes without pressure reduction.
