DE-suffix Suburban models include a 120V electric element. Most common: 1400W at 120V (5-7 hour recovery on shore power alone).
- SW6DE, SW10DE: 1400W 120V (15A circuit)
- SW12DE, SW16DEL: 1400W 120V or 4500W 240V on Class A applications
- SAW Advance: 1400W 120V
Testing
- 1400W 120V element: expected ~10 Ω
- 4500W 240V element: expected ~13 Ω
- OL = burned out; near 0 = shorted
Replacement
Drain tank below element; unscrew element (1-1/16" socket); install new with new gasket; refill before power-on.
