Home Master TMJRF2E Jr. F2 Mini Countertop RO System
Home Master TMJRF2E Jr. F2 Mini Countertop RO System Review
Home Master Jr. F2: Countertop RO With No Installation
The Home Master TMJRF2E Jr. F2 connects to any standard kitchen faucet via a diverter valve (included) -- no drilling, no under-sink plumbing, no professional installation required. The diverter routes cold water from the existing faucet through the 3-stage RO housing and delivers purified water through a dedicated output nozzle that sits on the countertop. Rent-appropriate and apartment-compatible.
Three-Stage Filtration
Stage 1: 5-micron sediment pre-filter (removes particulates that foul the RO membrane). Stage 2: granular activated carbon + catalytic carbon pre-filter (chlorine and chloramine removal -- both oxidize RO membrane material). Stage 3: RO membrane (2000 GPD high-flux rating -- this is the membrane throughput, not daily production; the actual household output is rate-limited by the faucet diverter flow). TDS rejection: approximately 90-95%. No storage tank -- on-demand production fills a glass in 1-2 minutes.
Filter Life and Replacement
The sediment and carbon pre-filters should be replaced every 6 months or 2,000 gallons. The RO membrane every 2-3 years or 10,000 gallons. Home Master uses 2-inch x 10-inch standard filter housings -- replacement filters are widely available from multiple suppliers, not locked to Home Master brand purchases.
- No installation -- faucet diverter only
- Standard 2x10 filter housings -- non-proprietary replacements
- On-demand output, no storage tank
- Apartment/rental compatible
- Diverter occupies existing faucet -- cannot use faucet and RO simultaneously
- Large countertop footprint for an RO unit
- Slower fill rate than tank-based systems
