Avalon Filter Replacement
Avalon A9 internal filter set (2-stage, $20--$30): replace every 6 months or 1,000 gallons. Available on Amazon and through the Avalon website. The Avalon A9 uses a push-button filter release -- no tools required for filter replacement (press the release tab, pull the cartridge out, insert new cartridge, press until it clicks). Avalon also sells a UV replacement lamp for models equipped with UV (approximately $25--$35 annually). For Avalon bottled cooler models, no filter replacement is required -- the cooler itself has no filter; water quality is determined by the bottled water source. Avalon coolers carry a 1-year limited warranty on manufacturing defects with a US-based customer support team.
