Duravit Toilet Parts Guide

Duravit parts ecosystem and service guidance. Universal aftermarket Korky/Fluidmaster compatibility where applicable.

Duravit toilet parts — premium European parts ecosystem

Duravit AG (founded 1817, Germany) uses German-engineered proprietary parts throughout the toilet lineup. Most Duravit toilet parts service flows through Duravit USA authorized dealer network (Studio41, Build.com Pro Desk, specialty design-trade showrooms) rather than universal Korky/Fluidmaster aftermarket channels.

Why Duravit uses proprietary parts

  • European 4-inch tank-bowl pattern: Many Duravit SKUs use European standard 4-inch tank-bowl gasket pattern (vs US universal 3-inch). Universal Bemis 7530 may not fit Duravit directly.
  • Designer actuator plates: Sigma 60-style plates rather than standard trip lever handles. Different mechanism, different parts.
  • Wall-hung SKUs use Geberit in-wall infrastructure: Service through Geberit Sigma carrier + actuator plate rather than tank-side mechanism.
  • SensoWash bidet integration: Factory-engineered bidet seat with Duravit-matched aesthetic and Duravit-specific service path.

Universal aftermarket compatibility (limited)

Some Duravit US-spec residential SKUs (Starck 3 two-piece floor-mount) use universal 2.5-inch shank fill valve patterns that accept Fluidmaster 400A. The Starck 3 floor-mount also uses universal 3-inch flush valve allowing Korky 2032BP. Wall-hung Duravit SKUs (ME by Starck Wall-Hung) bypass these mechanisms entirely — flush is controlled by the in-wall tank actuator plate, not a tank-side mechanism.

Where to source Duravit parts

  • Duravit USA dealer network: Studio41, Build.com Pro Desk, regional design-trade showrooms
  • Geberit Sigma actuator plates: For wall-hung Duravit installs (Geberit and Duravit share in-wall infrastructure)
  • Ferguson Enterprises: Premium Duravit parts inventory + Duravit-branded SoftClose seats
  • Home Depot/Lowes: Universal aftermarket compatible parts (Korky 2032BP, Fluidmaster 400A) for floor-mount Duravit only
  • Duravit USA customer service: 1-800-DURAVIT for warranty service + special-order parts

Duravit parts service interval

Duravit's German-engineered ceramic mix delivers 30-40 year service life on porcelain — longer than US-domestic residential brands. Internal mechanism parts (flush valve seal, fill valve) typically need replacement at 5-15 years. Designer actuator plates last 15-25 years (mechanical mechanisms are simpler than tank-side trip levers).
