Waterpik PowerPulse VSE-623E 6-Mode Handheld Showerhead
Waterpik PowerPulse VSE-623E 6-Mode Handheld Showerhead Review
Waterpik VSE-623E: PowerPulse for Muscle Relief
The Waterpik PowerPulse VSE-623E is designed around the massage setting -- a high-frequency pulsation pattern developed in cooperation with physical therapists to relieve post-workout muscle soreness. The pulse frequency is 40 Hz at 2.0 GPM, which Waterpik markets as therapeutically equivalent to a handheld massager in concentrated areas.
Six Spray Modes
The dial cycles through PowerPulse Massage, Full Body Rain, Wide Coverage, Mist, Pause, and Full Body with Pulse. The Full Body + Pulse combination activates both the outer ring nozzles and center pulse simultaneously, making it useful for rinsing while continuing a back massage. Pause mode drops to a trickle.
Construction
The 60-inch braided stainless hose and chrome ABS head connect via standard 1/2-inch NPT. The head is 4 inches wide -- wide enough for full face coverage but narrow enough to direct flow precisely during massage. At 2.0 GPM it is not WaterSense but more conserving than the 2.5 GPM standard.
