Speakman S-2252 Icon: Anystream Dial Mechanics

Speakman Anystream is a patented ball-valve dial system that adjusts spray pattern continuously from a tight jet to a wide rain -- no detents, no click stops. Rotating the Anystream dial changes internal pressure distribution across the 48-nozzle array in real time. This design lets each user dial in their exact preferred pattern rather than selecting from three preset options.

Flow Rate and Pressure

The S-2252 flows at 3.0 GPM -- above the WaterSense threshold, but Speakman targets users who need high pressure in low-pressure homes. The high-pressure version uses Anystream internal geometry to accelerate flow at lower supply pressures, compensating for homes with 30-40 PSI supply where standard heads feel weak.

Build Quality

The Icon body is solid brass with a chrome finish and 1/2-inch NPT connection. At 0.7 lbs it is light for a brass construction. The 48 silicone nozzles are arranged on a concave face -- slightly recessed to prevent splash-back at high flow rates.
