Pfister limited lifetime warranty
Pfister backs all residential showerheads with a limited lifetime warranty for the original purchaser covering defects in materials and workmanship. Contact Pfister customer service at 1-800-732-8238 with the model number (15-SS-series) and proof of purchase. Pfister ships replacement parts at no charge for covered claims. The warranty covers spray disk, mode mechanism, finish defects, and the handheld hose on Pivot and combo models.
Kenzo spray disk
The Kenzo spray disk (the nozzle face plate) can be removed by unscrewing the face collar ring counterclockwise. The disk is the component that produces the 6 distinct spray patterns -- if any setting produces an abnormal pattern, the spray disk channels may be partially blocked. Soak in 1:1 vinegar-water for 30-60 minutes and clean with a soft toothbrush. Request a replacement spray disk from Pfister customer service if cleaning does not restore full function.
Pivot ball O-ring
The Pivot handheld's ball mount O-ring is the seal between the ball and socket that prevents water from leaking through the pivot point when the ball is locked in position. If the pivot joint leaks with the collar tightened, the O-ring has worn. Disassemble the ball from the socket (requires unscrewing the socket housing -- 2 set screws behind the face collar), replace the O-ring with a matched-size rubber O-ring from a hardware store, and reassemble. Contact Pfister warranty service for free O-ring replacement within the warranty period.
Handheld hose replacement
Pfister Pivot and combo handheld hoses use standard 1/2-inch NPT swivel connections. If the hose develops a drip at a swivel connection and re-tightening does not stop it, replace with any standard 60-inch braided shower hose ($10-$20 at hardware stores) or request from Pfister under warranty. Contact Pfister for the specific hose part number for your model to ensure a perfect fit replacement.
