Kohler limited lifetime warranty

Kohler's limited lifetime warranty covers the original purchaser for the full product life. Contact Kohler customer service at 1-800-456-4537 with the K-number (the model identifier, e.g., K-72419) and your purchase information. Kohler ships replacement parts at no charge for covered claims. The K-number is stamped on the showerhead body near the inlet or molded into the spray face housing. Keep a photograph of this number after installation.

Moxie speaker replacement -- GP77759

The Moxie speaker module is serviceable separately from the showerhead body. The speaker component is Kohler part GP77759 and sells for $30-$50 at retail as a replacement. The built-in lithium battery in the speaker has an estimated lifespan of 300-500 charge cycles (approximately 3-5 years of daily use). When the battery no longer holds a charge, the speaker module is replaced as a unit -- the battery is not serviceable separately. Order via Kohler customer service or authorized Kohler dealers.

Spray face replacement

Kohler's Katalyst and Statement showerheads have a spray face that can be unscrewed from the showerhead body. To remove: grip the spray face ring and turn counterclockwise. Soak the face in vinegar solution (1:1 with water) for 30-60 minutes to dissolve mineral deposits. Replacement spray faces are ordered by K-number via Kohler customer service. If mineral buildup is the cause of reduced flow, descaling the existing face is the first repair step -- replacement is only needed if nozzles are physically damaged.

O-rings and pivot seals

The pivot ball O-ring (on the Exhale and adjustable-angle models) is the most commonly replaced seal. When the pivot joint drips or loosens, the O-ring on the ball shaft has worn. Disassemble the pivot joint, bring the O-ring to a hardware store to match the diameter, and replace. Kohler does not publish individual O-ring part numbers publicly -- request by K-number from customer service. For inlet connection drips, the flat inlet washer (standard 5/8" OD plumbing washer) is the correct fix.
