Full Contact technology -- what it is and why it matters
Standard remineralization RO systems run the post-membrane permeate through a calcite cartridge once, then to the storage tank, then to the faucet. The calcite contact happens at the 5th or 6th stage and the water sits in the tank for minutes to hours before dispensing. Mineral uptake during tank residence time varies -- tanks with short residence times (high-use households) dispense less mineralized water; tanks with long residence times (low-use households or overnight) dispense more. The result is inconsistent mineral content at the faucet.
Home Master's Full Contact process adds a second mineral contact stage after the storage tank: water exits the tank, passes through a second calcite/aragonite mineral stage, and then reaches the faucet. The Full Contact dual-remineralization produces water that most tasters prefer over APEC ROES-PH75 or iSpring RCC7AK single-stage remineralization output -- more consistent mineral profile, slightly higher pH consistency across draws. The 2:1 waste ratio (versus 4:1 for traditional RO) is a meaningful efficiency improvement. Annual filter cost of $100-$130 is higher than APEC or iSpring but includes dual remineralization cartridges that would cost $40-$60 as add-ons to competitor systems.
TMHP HydroPerfection -- who it's for
The TMHP is the right product for well water households that need biological protection alongside chemical contaminant removal. The 11-watt UV module at the correct flow rate provides 99.99%+ bacterial reduction and 99.9%+ viral reduction -- combined with the RO membrane's physical rejection, this is the most thorough point-of-use water treatment available in a residential single-unit system.
