Delta 21996LF Essa: Arc Spout for Deep Sinks

The Delta Essa features a high-arc gooseneck spout -- 10-1/4 inches of clearance at the spout tip -- that accommodates tall pots and oversized items that a standard 5-inch low-arc faucet cannot. The single lever controls both temperature and flow rate with a 180-degree rotation range. The spout swings 360 degrees to serve both sides of a double-basin sink.

DIAMOND Seal Valve

Delta DIAMOND Seal technology uses a ceramic disc embedded with industrial diamond particles, producing a valve surface rated to 5 million cycles. Comparable ceramic valves typically rate 3-4 million cycles; the diamond matrix increases hardness by 30% at the contact surface, extending serviceable life. The valve is covered by Delta lifetime warranty as a replaceable cartridge.

Installation

The 21996LF fits 1-3 hole configurations (deck plate not included but available separately as RP62591SS). The supply lines are pre-attached -- no soldering or union fittings needed. The unit installs in under 20 minutes with a basin wrench and Teflon tape.
