Moen 9000 Series -- classic bidet faucet for standalone porcelain bidet fixtures

The Moen 9000 Series bidet faucet serves a different market segment than bidet seats and integrated smart toilets: it is the controlling faucet for a traditional standalone porcelain bidet fixture. Standalone bidets -- the separate porcelain fixtures installed beside the toilet that look like a low basin -- remain common in European-style bathrooms, luxury master bath renovations, and homes where a dedicated cleansing fixture is preferred over a seat-mounted solution. The bidet fixture itself is a separate purchase (the porcelain basin); the faucet is the water control and delivery component, and the 9000 Series from Moen is engineered specifically for this application.

The T9000 is a deck-mount bidet faucet designed for single-hole or three-hole bidet deck configurations depending on the specific finish and trim option selected. The lever handle controls both temperature (mixing hot and cold supply lines) and flow volume. The faucet body is brass with Moen's LifeShine finish -- a non-tarnish coating applied at the factory that Moen warranties against corrosion and surface degradation for the lifetime of the product for the original purchaser. Available finishes include polished chrome, brushed nickel, and oil-rubbed bronze.

Spray pattern and flow control

The aerator on the 9000 Series delivers a gentle aerated stream appropriate for the gentle rinsing that a bidet basin is designed for. Flow rate is approximately 1.5 GPM at 60 PSI, which is sufficient for effective cleansing without excessive water use. The lever handle provides precise temperature control -- a critical feature for a bidet faucet where the user is adjusting water temperature while in use. The faucet deck plate (escutcheon) is included for three-hole installations.

Installation compatibility

The 9000 Series connects to standard US hot and cold 3/8-inch compression supply lines. Installation is performed by a plumber in conjunction with the porcelain bidet fixture installation, as the standalone bidet requires a drain rough-in and hot and cold supply rough-ins separate from the toilet plumbing. This is a remodel or new-construction product -- retrofitting a standalone bidet into an existing bathroom requires drain and supply work.
