Empava EMPV-T19 -- UV sterilization sets this smart toilet apart

The Empava EMPV-T19 is a one-piece elongated smart toilet with integrated bidet and a feature that distinguishes it from most competitors in its price tier: built-in UV sterilization. The UV lamp is positioned to sterilize the interior of the bowl and the bidet nozzle between uses, killing bacteria and pathogens rather than merely rinsing them away. In households where hygiene is a primary concern -- immunocompromised users, families with young children, or bathroom facilities with multiple occupants -- UV sterilization adds a measurable hygiene margin over conventional wash-and-rinse-only systems.

The EMPV-T19 is a tankless design: there is no ceramic tank above the bowl. Water is heated on demand by the instantaneous electric heating element as it flows through to the nozzle. The visual result is a sleeker, more compact toilet profile than tank toilets -- the unit reads visually as a single unified piece of porcelain rather than a toilet with a tank appendage. The tankless format also eliminates tank condensation on hot and humid summer days, which can drip onto floors and walls in humid climates.

Automatic lid and sensor operation

The automatic open/close lid uses a proximity sensor to detect user approach -- the lid rises as the user sits and closes automatically after the user steps away. The seat has a soft-close function on manual operation as well. Posterior wash, feminine wash, and oscillating wash modes are available with five-level pressure and temperature control each. The stainless steel nozzle self-cleans before and after each cycle and is retracted behind a nozzle guard when not in use.

Remote control and flush

The wall-mounted wireless remote controls all seat and bidet functions. The warm air dryer operates at three settings. A carbon deodorizer filter reduces bowl odors continuously. The toilet flushes on a dual flush system -- 1.0 GPF for liquid waste and 1.6 GPF for solid waste. Standard 12-inch rough-in. The EMPV-T19 requires a 120V GFCI-protected outlet within cable reach of the unit, which is the primary installation planning item for older bathrooms.
