Size selection: B-0001 vs B-0012 vs longer models
Rule of thumb: tub length plus 24" minimum clearance (12" each end) for the floor plan. A 67" B-0012 needs 91" of floor clearance on its long axis -- if your bathroom measures less than 7'7" on that axis, the B-0001 at 59" (needs 83") or a shorter Woodbridge model is the right fit. Measure your bathroom before ordering -- returning a freestanding tub involves freight shipping costs of $150-$300.
Drain rough-in is the critical planning step
Every Woodbridge freestanding tub drains at the foot end (not center). The drain rough-in must be positioned at the foot-end center of the tub's planned position on the floor. Plan this before installing flooring -- accessing post-tile drain rough-in is a major demolition project. The rough-in should terminate 1-2" above the subfloor; the chrome drain assembly supplied with the tub accommodates the connection.
Filler faucet selection
Woodbridge tubs use floor-mount fillers. Budget $250-$500 for a standard chrome floor-mount filler; brushed nickel or matte black finishes run $350-$800. Woodbridge sells coordinated floor-mount fillers, but any filler with 3/8" compression or 1/2" NPT connections is compatible. Plan the filler supply rough-in at the same time as the drain -- typically 6-10" from the tub foot centerline.
