The Heliodyne Gobi 410-002 Large Solar Thermal Collector is the larger-capacity variant of the Heliodyne Gobi 410-001. Same flat-plate solar thermal architecture at higher absorber area.
Specs: 48 sq ft absorber area (versus 40 sq ft on the 410-001), copper absorber plate with selective black chrome coating, tempered low-iron glass cover, aluminum frame. SRCC certified.
The larger absorber area produces more heating capacity per panel — useful for larger solar water heating systems where fewer panels can deliver the same thermal output. About $1,700 unit.
Typical residential system uses 2-3 of the 410-002 collectors paired with an 80-100 gallon storage tank. Complete system cost: $6,500-$10,000 installed.
