The Suburban SW16DEL is a 16-gallon dual-energy RV water heater — the largest RV water heater in Suburban's lineup. Sized for very large Class A motorhomes and luxury fifth wheels.

Specs: 16 gallons stored, 12,000 BTU propane burner, 1500W electric element, recovery ~17 gph propane or 6 gph electric. Porcelain-lined steel tank with magnesium anode rod.

The 16-gallon capacity is uncommon — exceeds typical RV demand even for 6-person families. Found in very large luxury motorhomes (over 40 ft) and high-end fifth wheels with multiple bathrooms.

About $750 unit, $400-$600 installed. Direct replacement for existing 16-gallon Suburban units in luxury RV applications. Service parts through Camping World.
