The Suburban SW12D is a 12-gallon LP-only RV water heater. Largest LP-only configuration in Suburban's lineup. Sized for large Class A motorhomes and large fifth wheels.
Specs: 12 gallons stored, 12,000 BTU propane burner, DSI ignition control, 12V DC operation. Porcelain-lined steel tank with magnesium anode rod.
The LP-only configuration is the cost-saving alternative to SW12DE (dual energy). Common in: larger RVs without 30A electrical capacity for water heating, boondock-focused use of large rigs.
About $550 unit, $300-$500 installed. Direct replacement for existing 12-gallon Suburban LP-only units. Parts widely available through Camping World.
