The Dometic 6.5-Gallon RV Water Heater Replacement Cabinet is an OEM replacement cabinet (not a complete water heater) for Dometic 6-gallon RV water heater installations. Replaces damaged exterior cabinet doors and trim while reusing the existing water heater unit.
The product is specifically the exterior cabinet — the white painted metal door + trim ring that surrounds the water heater compartment on the side of an RV. Compatible with Dometic 6-gallon water heaters (GC6AA series) and predecessor Atwood G6 units with trim adapters.
Use case: RV exterior cabinet damaged by impact, weather, or age replacement. About $90-$150 for the cabinet kit. Installation is straightforward — unscrew old cabinet, screw on new cabinet.
