Pelican PC600 Installation
The Pelican PC600 installs inline on the main supply line in the same location as a water softener: after the meter, before distribution. The single-tank upflow design is simpler to install than multi-tank systems. Pelican provides detailed installation instructions and a video guide. Professional installation is recommended; Home Depot offers installation services through its Pro Referral program. Installation time: 2--4 hours for a professional plumber. Required: main supply shutoff, pipe cutting (copper or PEX), compression or sweat fittings, and wall-mounted bracket (included). A bypass valve is included with the PC600 for filter service without main water shutoff.
