Installing a Filter Faucet in a Kraus Stainless Steel Sink

If your Kraus sink has a pre-drilled accessory hole: thread the dedicated filter faucet through the hole, tighten the mounting nut from below with the included basin wrench, connect the supply tube from the filter system to the faucet. If drilling a new hole: use a 1-3/8" carbide-tipped step drill bit (not included with most RO systems). For stainless steel sinks, drill at 600--800 RPM with light pressure and cutting oil -- Kraus stainless is 16-gauge (thicker than budget sinks) and requires a sharp, quality bit. Drill from the top surface of the sink using a center punch mark to prevent bit walk. The Kraus website includes a video on accessory hole drilling for specific sink models.
