The Frizzlife PD400 uses a 3-filter system: Stage 1 composite pre-filter (PP sediment + carbon block, 6--8 month life, $25--$35), Stage 2 RO membrane (12--24 month life, $30--$45), Stage 3 post-carbon polishing filter (12 month life, $15--$20). Annual maintenance cost: $70--$100 depending on replacement interval. Frizzlife sells an annual maintenance kit that includes all three filter stages at $65--$90. Replacement filters are available through Amazon (Prime eligible) and the Frizzlife website -- third-party compatible filters exist but are not recommended for warranty compliance.
