Waterdrop G3P800 -- under-sink RO with 800 GPD capacity

The Waterdrop G3P800 is an under-counter reverse osmosis filtration system -- the traditional format where the RO unit installs under the kitchen sink, connects to the cold water supply line, and dispenses filtered water through a dedicated RO faucet at the sink. At 800 GPD (gallons per day) capacity, the G3P800 is at the high end of residential RO throughput -- most competing residential RO systems produce 50-400 GPD. The higher throughput means faster glass and bottle filling and less wait time even when multiple family members are drawing filtered water simultaneously.

The G3P800 is tankless -- water is filtered on demand and dispensed immediately, without the pre-filled storage tank used in traditional RO systems. This eliminates the risk of bacterial growth in stored water and removes a large component (the tank is typically 3-4 gallons) from under-sink space requirements. The trade-off: tankless systems depend on the pump to maintain flow rate, and the pump requires electricity to operate.

Smart filter monitoring

The G3P800 includes a smart display that monitors real-time TDS (total dissolved solids) of both the incoming water and the filtered output, and tracks filter usage to project replacement timing. The display shows a reminder when filter replacement is approaching -- eliminating the manual tracking that leads many users to forget filter changes and operate past the filter's effective life.
