Filter replacement
Culligan HD-950A filter cartridges replace every 6 months. Replacement cartridges available through Culligan dealers (included in service subscriptions) and retail plumbing supply stores. Always replace both stages simultaneously -- the sediment pre-filter and the carbon block work in sequence; installing a fresh carbon block against an expired sediment filter reduces the carbon stage's effective life.
Dealer service subscription
Culligan's annual service subscription (cost varies by dealer market, typically $80-$150) includes: scheduled filter replacements at the dealer's standard maintenance visit, water quality check, system inspection, and phone support for any issues between visits. For households that prefer set-it-and-forget-it maintenance, the subscription eliminates the cognitive burden of tracking filter life and ordering replacements.
Warranty and support
Culligan limited warranty on the HD-950A unit: 1 year. Dealer service subscriptions include warranty coverage extension in many markets.
