- Trip lever has LEFT-HAND THREADING — when removing the chrome handle nut behind the tank, turn RIGHT to loosen (opposite of standard).
- 3-inch flush valve universal compatibility — every Sterling residential toilet accepts Korky 2032BP without adapter.
- Universal Fluidmaster fill valve shank — unlike Eljer (3-inch shank), Sterling accepts Fluidmaster 400A directly.
- Rockton (one-piece) tank service — limited internal access. Use long-shank screwdriver for hard-to-reach mounting nuts.
- Skirted-trapway models (Rockton, Sacramento) — wax ring replacement is significantly harder due to floor flange access constraints. Two-person lift required to remove bowl.
