Aquasana Filter Faucet Upgrade: When to Replace the Included Faucet

The faucets included with APEC ($200--$260 system), iSpring ($180--$220 system), and Frizzlife ($250--$320 system) under-sink RO systems are functional but entry-level -- chrome ABS housing with a simple ceramic disc stem. If kitchen hardware is Oil-Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Gold, or Matte Black, the chrome-only included faucets clash aesthetically. In this case, upgrading to an Aquasana dedicated filter faucet ($50--$80, available separately at aquasana.com) or a Kraus KFF in the matching finish ($50--$120) is the practical solution. The Aquasana dedicated filter faucet is compatible with any RO system using standard 1/4" push-connect tubing.
