TOTO Nexus -- Japanese quality engineering in a US alcove format

TOTO, the Japanese plumbing brand best known in the US for its Washlet bidet seats and Tornado Flush toilet technology, brings the same quality engineering focus to its bathtub lineup. The Nexus is TOTO's primary alcove soaking tub for the US market -- designed to the standard 60"x30" alcove format while incorporating TOTO's EverClean antimicrobial surface and a soaking depth competitive with US premium brands.

The Nexus uses an acrylic construction with TOTO's EverClean surface treatment -- similar in concept to American Standard's EverClean but using TOTO's own proprietary antimicrobial formulation. The soaking depth of 16 inches is notably deeper than the American Standard Cadet (12 inches) and competitive with the Kohler Underscore RL (17.5 inches). The interior uses a gently contoured bottom with a sloped back that places the bather in a semi-reclined position without the pronounced lumbar support of the Kohler.
