Bosch and Rinnai are both premium tankless brands but come from different engineering traditions. German vs Japanese.

Recirculation
Rinnai wins decisively. Sensei RX has built-in pump + Circ-Logic learning. Bosch Greentherm requires external pump.
App & smart-home
Rinnai ControlR is the most mature tankless app. Bosch Home Comfort is functional but less polished.
POU mini-tank
Bosch wins decisively. Rinnai doesn't have a POU mini-tank product. For under-sink applications, Bosch Tronic is the only major-brand option.
Combi boiler
Rinnai doesn't make combi boilers. For combi, choose Bosch Greenstar (or Navien NCB / Noritz NRCB).
