The Marey GA5LP is a 1.3 GPM outdoor LP-fired tankless water heater, the smallest unit in Marey's outdoor portable line. The "GA5" reflects the 5-liter-per-minute peak rating (about 1.3 GPM US measurement); "LP" identifies propane fuel. Designed for very light outdoor demand — single rinse station, small bath, occasional outdoor use.

Specs: 38,000 BTU propane burner, 1.3 GPM peak at a 35°F rise, battery-fired ignition (two D-cells), dial controls for gas and water flow. Outdoor mounting only — front-vented combustion creates CO risk indoors. Wall mount with included bracket.

The 1.3 GPM peak is at the lower end of useful outdoor tankless. Adequate for a hand washing station, very brief outdoor shower, camp-style rinse. Inadequate for sustained body-wash showering — the shower stream is on the light side and runs cold at moderate-to-cold groundwater temperatures.

Right buyer: budget-conscious occasional outdoor use, hand washing stations at remote outdoor work locations, very light cabin use. Marey's value positioning puts the GA5LP about 30% below Eccotemp L5 — about $170 unit versus $190 for the L5. The warranty is 1-year (vs 2-year for Eccotemp). Right when budget is tight and demand is genuinely minimal.
