Marey GA22LP 5.8 GPM Outdoor LP Tankless Water Heater

The Marey GA22LP is a 5.8 GPM outdoor LP-fired tankless water heater, the second-largest in Marey's outdoor portable line (below the GA16LP at 4.3 GPM and above the GA10LP at 3.1 GPM). 22 means 22-liter-per-minute peak rating in metric measurement (5.8 GPM in US measurement).

Specs: 138,000 BTU propane burner, 5.8 GPM peak at a 35°F rise or 3.4 GPM at a 75°F rise, battery-fired ignition (two D-cells), dial controls for gas and water flow. Outdoor mounting only.

The GA22LP is the high-capacity outdoor portable option, suitable for primary outdoor showers at developed cabins, pool houses with multi-fixture demand, food truck and mobile commercial setups needing higher-flow hot water.

Limitations same as other Marey outdoor: outdoor-mounting only (front-vented combustion creates CO risk indoors), winter freeze damage risk if left exposed below 32°F. Service life 5-10 years with regular use. About $390 unit.

Right buyer: cabin or hunting camp with high outdoor demand, food truck or mobile commercial setup, pool house with multi-fixture outdoor demand. Wrong buyer: indoor installation (unsafe), occasional weekend camping (the smaller GA10LP or GA5LP serves at lower cost).
